CBCreatorBenchmarks
About · Why this exists

A consumer-shaped problem
that got priced like a procurement event.

HypeAuditor wants $400 a month. Modash wants a demo call. Heepsy wants a contract. Meanwhile a creator just wants to know if 2.1% engagement is good. We built the front door.

01The thesis

The creator economy needs a credit score, not a SaaS dashboard

Every other industry where money changes hands at scale has a cheap, credible verdict surface. Glassdoor for jobs. Yelp for restaurants. FICO for borrowers. The creator economy — orders of magnitude bigger than most of those — doesn’t have one. Instead, it has enterprise tools priced for procurement and consumer tools that don’t actually measure anything.

CreatorBenchmarks fills the gap. One handle, one verdict, real benchmarks underneath. Free for the curious. Cheap for the regulars. Honest with everyone.

02What we won't do

Things we will turn down money to avoid

  • Sell creator-level data to brands without the creator’s consent.
  • Run a leaderboard. Scores are personal, not adversarial.
  • Hide the verdict behind a signup, a paywall, or a demo call.
  • Pretend the authenticity signal is a fake-follower percentage. It isn’t.
  • Generate AI-written “content recommendations” for creators. We measure; we don’t coach.
  • Train models on the report data of any creator who has asked us to remove their public benchmark.
03The team

Small, on purpose

CreatorBenchmarks is built by a small team that has been working on creator data since before the phrase “creator economy” meant anything.

We’re not raising. We don’t want to. Small team, small infra, small prices. The product is the point.
